Words can barely describe how November 11th was.

I knew if the wedding was half as beautiful as the couple, it was going to be an extremely successful day. Every glance from the viewfinder to the screen to see what I've just captured filled me to my inner core with absolute bliss.

Back in August, I left work one night to find a missed call, text, email AND Facebook notification from Rashad looking for my services. When him, Katie and myself finally met, he mentioned and flattered me with that he hadn't wanted to meet with anyone else to photograph their big day.

The best part; "Have you ever photographed a Chaldean wedding before?" Rashad asked. I replied with an honest no. "Well, you're in for a wild night!" Challenge accepted, guys.

And he without a doubt was right!

We started our day with our groom and men getting ready in the new and improved Holiday Inn overlooking the Windsor/Detroit riverfront, and the Remembrance day festivities in the streets. Katie and her ladies got dolled up in her home, where it felt like every decor item actually added something beautiful to these photos.

The father of the bride officiated the couple to say their 'I do's' in Emmanuel United Church, followed by the perfect golden hour photo session in Willistead Park.

Katie & Rashad danced their way into newlywedhood, Yalekhtas waving high, head-to-heel completely in love, and their special day could not have been more classic and perfect.
